Easy Tartar Sauce in 5 Minutes

I wanted to cut down my gas bill when cooking.
Please adjust the cooking time as necessary and keep an eye on everything.
Adjust the amount of mayonnaise based on the thickness you want.
I love adding in lemon juice because it's so refreshing.
You can forego cooking the onion if you'd like (add it in Step 3 in this case). Recipe by Momomomo

Steps
- 1
Break the egg on a plate with a little water on it and poke a hole in the yolk (with a toothpick or chopsticks). Finely chop the onion and place it on the same plate.
- 2
Cover the plate with plastic wrap and microwave it for 1-1.5 minutes (If you don't poke a hole in the yolk, it could burst when you microwave it).
- 3
Next, mash the egg with a fork and add in all your seasoning ingredients.
- 4
It's done!
- 5
Example 1: It can be used for fried fish filets with tartar sauce
- 6
It can be used with salmon, chicken nanban and with fried foods! If you have some, add in some finely chopped cucumbers or pickles.
