Wash the moong dal and raw rice properly and separately. Soak it overnight.

In the morning wash the moong dal and raw rice again and place it in a mixer grinder cup.

Now grind the moong dal very finely and take it out in a large bowl. Now grind the raw rice and mix this with moong dal batter. The mixture is ready now.

Now boil some water in a deep kadhai equivalent to moong dal paste with sugar.

When it's boiled add moong dal paste along with a pinch of salt and mix it well. Add cardamom and pepper powder and mix everything well.

Now reduce the heat and stir it till it becomes thick. Now, wet one of your finger and touch the paste if it's not sticking to your finger then turn of the gas.

Now grease a wide plate with some ghee and add the moong dal tikri and spread it nicely. Keep it like this for 20 to 30 minutes.

When the mixture comes to room temperature cut it into burfi like shapes and enjoy it. You can keep this in the fridge for 2 days at least.
