Al Zaeafran Nana Shai / Arabic style Saffron Mint Tea

#saffron #spiceweek7 #cookpadindia #arabcountries #middleeast #UAE #Bahrain
In Arabic:
Saffron is Zaeafran
Mint is Nana
Mint Tea is popular in Middle East Countries including UAE & Bahrain.
In Middle East countries Mint Tea is easily available in Local Restaurant serving Arabic style cuisines with mint leaves steeped in light Black Tea but for a caffeine free Mint tea I have added Saffron to it. It gives a lovely flavour and aroma and makes your tea more exotic.
As per Google:
Saffron tea may help reduce the risk of heart disease by strengthening the circulatory system. Its antioxidants have been shown to lower both cholesterol and blood pressure, which can reduce your risk of developing heart problems.
Mint tea eases your digestive upsets, freshens breath, relieves headache, migraines, sinuses etc.
Note: Here I have steeped the Mint and Saffron in hot water, which keeps the mint fresh and green or you can brew and steep it by boiling but that will turn the mint leaves black. Choice is yours.
