Ingredients

1 serving
  1. 1/4 cupDashi Stock OR Stock of your choice *OR Water
  2. 1 tablespoonSoy Sauce
  3. 1 tablespoonMirin
  4. 1/2 teaspoonSugar *alter the amount to suit your tatse
  5. 1/4Onion *sliced
  6. 1Crumbed OR Battered Fried Fish *about 120 to 150g, cut into bite-size pieces
    Panko-Crumbed Fried Fish
  7. 1/2Spring Onion *diagonally sliced
  8. 1large Egg *whisked
  9. 1serving cooked Rice *warmed

Steps

  1. 1

    Place Dashi Stock (OR Stock of your choice), Soy Sauce, Mirin and Sugar in a small frying pan or small saucepan. Scatter Onion, cover with a lid, and bring to the simmer over medium low heat.

    When Onion is soft, arrange Fried Fish pieces, scatter Spring Onion, pour whisked Egg evenly, cover with the lid, and cook until Egg is softly cooked.

  3. 3

    Half fill a bowl with warm cooked Rice, cover with the mixture, and enjoy.
