Strawberry Yogurt Ice Cream

After making a strawberry cake, I wanted to use the leftover strawberries and heavy cream, and this recipe came to my mind. Adding yogurt makes this dish refreshing. Adjust the sweetness to your liking after tasting it, but the original recipe here isn't cloyingly sweet.

Tips: Mix well while freezing - It will add fluffiness. Use the heavy cream after whipping it. You can adjust the amount of the ingredients. Originally, I made this dish with leftovers. Recipe by Mangetsu152000.

Ingredients

  • 1/2pack Strawberries
  • 300 gramsPlain yogurt
  • 60 gramsSugar
  • 100 mlHeavy cream

Steps

    Wash the strawberries, and pat dry the excess water. Put the strawberries and sugar in a bowl.

    Roughly mash with a masher. Leave it chunky.

    Add lightly whipped heavy cream.

    Pour in the yogurt, and mix well.

  5. 5

    Transfer it to a container and freeze. Take it out 2 or 3 times while refrigerating, and stir well.

    Garnish with mint leaves.

    Here's a frozen yogurt recipe. This one doesn't use heavy cream, so it's a bit icier.
