Gather all the ingredients.

Cut the bread into very small pieces. Mix the milk, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and raisins together well.

Microwave this mixture for 2 minutes.

Meanwhile, add the brown sugar to the baking pan to make a caramel. Spread it well over the bottom and sides. Set aside.

Mix the bread pieces with the milk mixture and let them soak for 3-5 minutes so everything combines well.

Beat the egg and mix it into the other mixture until all the ingredients are well combined.

Pour the mixture into the pan and cover it tightly.

Place the pan in a pressure cooker and cook in a water bath for about 60 minutes.

Remove the lid and let it cool. Unmold and refrigerate for a while.
