Anchovies can be eaten as a tasty fish without any bad taste if they are carefully prepared.
This is a very simple marinade recipe.

Prepare the freshest anchovies possible.
Remove the head, cut open the belly and remove the entrails. - 2
Rinse the belly under running water and open the body with the fingers touching the bones. Remove the bones by hand.

Sprinkle with salt and place in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.

Mix the ingredients for the washing liquid and wash the anchovies.

Soak the anchovies in enough white wine vinegar to cover them for at least an hour.

Discard the vinegar and marinate in sliced garlic, chilli and olive oil and leave in the fridge for at least half a day. Add olive oil enough to soak the anchovies.

It can be stored in the refrigerator for a week. Enjoy it as a cold starter.
