Seasoned Glutinous Rice with Fried Tilapia

Soak the Glutinous Rice in hot water, salt and turmeric powder for 2 hours, drain it. Put the rice into the steamer that place with the thin white cloth. Steam for 15 minutes.

Meanwhile mix mirin, sugar and soy sauce, stir until the sugar dissolve. Then bring to mix with the Glutinous Rice, use the spatula fold to mix it. Set aside.

Scrape the scales, wash the tilapia thoroughly. Then cut into strips. Pad to dry, sprinkle salt both sides. Preheat the pan, add olive oil. Put the tilapia in, fry side by side until turn to golden brown. Scoop it up, allow it to cool down completely. Then remove the fishbone.

Put fried tilapia fillet, fried garlic and Glutinous Rice in a square box. Press it. Cut into square shape. Ready to serve.
