Easy and fun to make, these Thandai beetroot delight are perfect for Holi celebrations!
One of the part of this sweet is simple thandai coconut mixture which has been flavored with my homemade thandai powder to make them festive! Another part of this sweet is beetroot halwa which is also very easy to make. So combining both have made this thandai beetroot delight especially for Holi festival.

One of the part of this sweet is simple thandai coconut mixture which has been flavored with my homemade thandai powder to make them festive! Another part of this sweet is beetroot halwa which is also very easy to make. So combining both have made this thandai beetroot delight especially for Holi festival.

To prepare thandai coconut mixture:
Heat 2 Tbsp of ghee in a heavy bottom pan on medium heat, then add the grated dry coconut and thandai powder to it. - 2
Saute the mixture for 2 to 3 minutes until fragrant.

Add condensed milk and mix it well on low flame. Stir until the condensed milk mixes well with the coconut and thandai powder too.

Mixture will leave side of the pan. Remove pan from heat and let it cool down a bit. Keep it aside.

To prepare beetroot mixture:
Wash beetroot with clean water and peel it. - 6
Heat 2 Tbsp of ghee in a heavy bottom pan. Add grated beetroot and saute till the raw smell goes off.

Now add milk and stir continuously on a medium flame.

Now add Khoya. It will take 15 to 20 minutes to reach the Halwa consistency. Then add Cardamom Powder, Sugar and stir it continuosly for 5 minutes.

Mixture will leave side of the pan. Remove pan from heat and let it cool down a bit. Keep it aside.

First add beatroot mixture and then thandai mixture in a greased mould. Now press then lightly with help of palm. Now unmould it.

So that beatroot thandai delight is ready to serve.
