Watermelon is so much in abundance in summer. It has excellent water and mineral content and it balances the sugar and pH of our body. Fresh juice of watermelon protects from after effects of sun exposure and gives instant relief from heat. I have added lemon juice, fresh rose water and some mint to make this mojito style drink. Enjoy!

Ingredients

4 servings
  1. 3 cupsFresh and juicy ripe watermelon (peeled and cubed)
    Watermelon Peels Curry with Steamed Rice
  2. 2 tablespoonsLemon juice
    Pineapple Lemon Cooler
  3. 10 to 12Mint leaves
  4. 1/2 cupFresh rose water
    Sago Rose Payasam
  5. 1/2 cupHoney
  6. to taste,Pink salt
  7. as required Cold water
  8. as per needIce cubes
  9. as requiredLemon wedges and watermelon pieces to garnish

Steps

20 minutes
  1. 1

    First, remove seeds from watermelon pieces. Then add then to blender along with lemon juice, honey, rose water, mint leaves, and blend well. Add water and blend again.

    Then strain and chill. To serve, add ice cubes, pour the cooler on it and garnish with lemon and watermelon wedges. Enjoy.
