Genkotsu Soybean Flour Bites with Honey

This is soft genkotsu that I made when my stock of honey hardened in the cold season. I was trying to figure out if I could use it for something.

Please heat the honey if it hardens in the winter by microwaving or in a pot. This is easy to make. If you prefer, sprinkling green tea through a tea strainer will make it pretty and colorful. Store in a plastic container in the fridge. For 2 huge servings. Recipe by Gomamaron

Steps

  1. 1

Add all of the ingredients to a bowl, and mix with a rubber spatula until it all comes together. It will be difficult to mix at first, but it will gather up once it begins to blend together.

  2. 2

Roll the lump from Step 1 on a cutting board, and cut into your desired lengths and shapes with a knife. Place in a shallow dish covered in kinako soy flour, and roll them around to coat.
