Mongolian Beef (Sticky sweet beef stir fry)
This dish is one of my partner's top favourite.
Steps

Thinly slice beef. Add to marinade and leave it for 30mins.

Coat beef with corn flour then deep fry in vegetable oil for about a minute or two.

When done remove and set aside.

Use about 2 tbsp of the remaining oil in a pan.

Under medium low heat, fry garlic, ginger, onion and the white part of scallion.

When fragrant, add in the sauce mixture.

When thickened, add in the fried beef and green part of scallion.

Mix until beef is coated well. Sprinkle with sesame seed. Serve with warm rice.
