Prepare the filling: Brown the seasoned beef in a pan. Add chopped onions, tomatoes, and mild chili powder. Sauté and cook until the onions are soft.

Once the onions are cooked, remove from heat and let the filling cool.

Place the flour in a bowl. Add the lard and margarine, and mix until the texture is crumbly.

Add the salt and sugar. Gradually add the water and knead until everything is combined. Divide the dough into 80-gram portions, shape into balls, and roll out.

Fill each dough round with the filling, place on a baking sheet, brush with egg yolk, and bake for 15 to 20 minutes.
