Bottle gourd sabzi

Wash and remove the skin of the bottle gourd. Chop into small pieces.soak chana dal for 2 hours.

Cook chana dal for 5 minutes and remove water from it. Heat oil in deep pan. Add mustard seeds. Allow it to splutter. Add curry leaves and asefoetida.

Now add turmeric powder. Mix well. Add chana dal. Fry it for 5minutes. Now add chopped bottle gourd.

Mix well, add red chilli powder,goda masala.mix add little water to it. Cover it and cook for 5 minutes.

Now add amchur powder, Jaggery and salt. If required add water. Cook for 5 more minutes

Now it is ready to serve. It's spicy and khatri mitthi sabzi goes well with chapati, phulka. Enjoy.
