Grilled sweet peaches

Grilled Sweet Peaches are the perfect summer dessert… fresh, full of flavour, and so easy to make! An easy dessert that you can have on the table in less than ten minutes!
When peaches are in season, peaking in July and August—truly nothing beats a ripe, sticky-sweet peach. Whether using the fruit in sweet or savoury recipes, one of the favourite ways to amplify (and enjoy) a peach's natural flavour is to grill it. Putting your peach on the grill does wonders for the fruit: it amplifies the natural sweetness, makes it extra soft and juicy and even caramelizes it slightly.
If you don’t have a grill, you can use a grill pan.
Grilling the peaches in halves, rather than slices, prevents them from overcooking and makes the peaches easier to handle. . Brushing the peach halves with butter or olive oil prevents sticking, and it won’t burn
Grill the peaches uncovered for four to five minutes on each side. Resist the temptation to reposition the peaches once on the grill — good grill marks on peaches are the result of patience. The finished peaches should be more tender, but not falling apart, with distinct grill marks.
Chopped nuts or even a sprinkle of granola will gives these grilled peaches a little bit of a crunch. Whipped cream or even vanilla yogurt makes a sweet and creamy sauce as it melts over the grilled peaches.
