Boil 1.5 ltr of milk at medium flame

Seprate 4 tb of milk in a bowl and add kesar strands in it and keep it aside

Reduce the quantity to half

Add sugar

Add kesar milk

Add pinch of orange food colour and mix well

After 20-25 min, milk starts thickening

Stir ocassionaly and flame is low

Mawa is ready

Take it out in a plate and let it cool down

In a modak maker, fill it half with mawa

Then add some dryfruits

Then fill it properly with mawa
