Steps
- 1
Rinse the bean sprouts. If you have time, remove the roots and tails.
- 2
Cut the pork into bite-sized pieces. Julienne the carrot and bell pepper. Thinly slice the shiitake mushrooms. Finely chop the green onion.
- 3
Heat oil in a frying pan. Add a little grated ginger and cook until fragrant, then add the pork and stir-fry until the color changes.
- 4
Add the carrot and shiitake mushrooms and stir-fry. Next, add the bell pepper and bean sprouts and stir-fry lightly.
- 5
Add 1 2/3 cups (400 ml) water and the Chinese chicken bouillon powder. Once it comes to a boil, season with 1 1/2 tablespoons oyster sauce, 2 teaspoons soy sauce, 1/2 teaspoon sugar, and salt and pepper to taste. (These are the A seasonings.)
- 6
Thicken the sauce with the potato starch slurry, then add a drizzle of sesame oil for aroma.
- 7
Prepare the ramen noodles according to the package instructions and place them in warmed bowls.
- 8
Pour the bean sprout sauce over the noodles and sprinkle with chopped green onion to finish.
