Ingredients

11/2 cupscornmeal
1 cupboiling water
3 tbspmelted butter
1 tspsalt
1 cupsifted flour
1 cupmilk
4 tspbaking powder
1 tbspsugar
3eggs well beaten

Steps

Slowly add cornmeal to boiling water stirring constantly

When smooth cool

Add eggs butter salt and sugar

Alternately add milk and flour and baking powder

Bake in 8" square pan at 400 for 30 min.
