Ingredients

11/2 cupscornmeal
1 cupboiling water
3 tbspmelted butter
1 tspsalt
1 cupsifted flour
1 cupmilk
4 tspbaking powder
1 tbspsugar
3eggs well beaten

Steps

Slowly add cornmeal to boiling water stirring constantly

When smooth cool

Add eggs butter salt and sugar

Alternately add milk and flour and baking powder
5

Bake in 8" square pan at 400 for 30 min.
