Steps
- 1
Ingredients
(You can also use a regular cookie cutter without the green food coloring for non-Creeper shapes) - 2
Melt the butter in a large pot over low heat. (Be careful not to burn it.)
- 3
Add the marshmallows and stir until melted, then remove from heat. (The photo shows large marshmallows, but mini ones melt more easily if you have them.)
- 4
Add 1-2 drops of food coloring, and once it turns green, add the Rice Krispies and mix quickly to coat evenly.
- 5
Transfer to a greased 9x13-inch Pyrex dish and press down with parchment or wax paper.
- 6
Refrigerate for about 30 minutes to set.
- 7
Cut into desired sizes with a knife. If you want squares, trim off the curved edges.
- 8
Draw a Creeper face with icing. (A chocolate pen works too.)
- 9
Once the icing is dry, they're ready! Even a makeshift Creeper will delight the kids!
