This is one of the few recipes that, from time to time and with some variations, we've gotten used to repeating at home.

This recipe is very easy to make and is a pleasant surprise for the palate.

The day before, remove the pits from the dates and soak them in brandy or any liqueur you like.

Cut each bacon slice in half.

Drain the dates to remove excess liqueur.

Fill the dates with pâté.

Wrap each date with a piece of bacon and secure with a toothpick.

Repeat until all the ingredients are used.

Place on a baking sheet.

Bake for 15 minutes in a cold oven at 300°F (150°C) with heat from below.

Check for doneness and bake for another 10 minutes at 300°F (150°C) with heat from above and below.

Serve hot.
