Ingredients

20 minutes
4 servings
  1. 2medium size beetroot, boiled and grated
  2. 2 Tbspkodo millet flour
  3. 1/4 cupclarified butter/ghee
  4. 150 mlcondensed milk
  5. 2 Tbspchopped almonds
  6. 2 Tbspchopped pistachio
  7. 1 pinchsalt

Steps

20 minutes
  1. 1

    Heat the 1/4 cup ghee and shallow fry kodo millet flour and grated boiled beetroots on low flame for 3 minutes. Then add the condensed milk and chopped almonds. Cook till the beetroot thicken.

    Grease a pot with ghee and cardamom powder and pour the cooked beetroot. Allow to cool down and cut into pieces.

    Place the burfi on a serving plate. Garnish with chopped pista and serve.
