Steps
- 1
Mix Carrot puree & red chilli flakes into (idly /dosa) batter (salt is already added in batter).
Idly/ Dosa Batter:
To make idly/dosa batter, soak 3 cups of rice and 1 cup of urad dal separately for 4-6 hours. Grind the rice and dal with water to a smooth consistency. Mix them together, add salt, and let the batter ferment overnight. Use for soft idlies or crispy dosas.
- 2
Mix well to make a batter of pouring consistency.
- 3
Now, to make the dosa, heat a tawa (pan), brush it a little oil. Pour a ladle full of the prepared batter and spread it to make a thin dosa.
- 4
Flip over and cook the other side for another some minute
and take it out in a serving plate. - 5
Finally, Yummy Carrot Dosa is ready to serve.
