  • 1 cupsplit red lentils (toor dal)
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon ginger paste
  • 1 teaspoon garlic paste
  • 1 teaspooncoriander powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • Salt, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons ghee or oil
  • Chopped cilantro
  • for garnish -
  • green chillies is must for spicy flavour

  1. 1

    1. Rinse lentils.
    2. Chop onion, green chilies, and ginger.
    3. Mince garlic.
    4. Measure spices.
    5. Heat ghee/oil.

    Step 2: Sauté Onions and Ginger (3 minutes)*

    1. Add chopped onion; sauté until translucent.
    2. Add chopped green chilies and ginger garlic paist sauté for 1 minute add salt to taste

    Take cooker add soak lentil steam it till 3 visel now lentils are tender now add to Sauté onions

    Add water asper required and bring it to boil now garnish it with coriander and fresh mint leaves
    Serve hot with
    Phulka's or parathas
