Mathura Peda
Steps
- 1
In a pan, heat the ghee until it melts.
- 2
For homemade mawa, add milk powder to the ghee, stir to avoid lumps. Cook for a few minutes on low flame.
- 3
Gradually add milk while stirring constantly. This will help the mixture become smooth and start to thicken.
- 4
Continue cooking on low flame until the mixture turns golden brown. Mawa is ready.
- 5
Turn off the heat and let the mixture cool slightly. Add powdered sugar and cardamom powder and combine everything.
- 6
While the mixture is warm, take small portions and shape them into small peda.
- 7
Coat the peda with powdered sugar after they cool down. Serve and enjoy ✨
