Soak chana overnight.

Next day pressure cook for three whistles till chana get tender.Add little salt when cooking.

In a mixer jar add two tablespoon cooked chana and coarsely grind.(For gravy)

Make paste from onion, garlic, coriander leaves and ginger.Heat a pan add oil and grounded paste.Add turmeric, chilli, garam masala and salt.Saute till masala separates oil.Add cooked chana and coarsely grounded chana paste.Add required water and bring 2-3 boils.

Serve hot with chapati,puri or rice.
