Spicy cheesy healthy kuzhi appam with left over idli batter

Keep the paniyaaram/kuzhi appam maker on low heat; add ½ tsp oil in each mold. Fill the mold ½ with batter. spray oil the top of the batter. Cook covered; simmer to low heat. cook for about 2-3 minutes - 3
Flip to cook the other side. Cook covered. Simmer to low heat, after 2 minutes, check with a stick. If it comes out clean, turn off the stove. Both sides should be golden brown.

Sprinkle cheese on the top. Cover, continue cooking over simmering heat, about a minute. Lae it be on the stove for a couple of minutes. cheese melted. remove from the appam maker. You may transfer the cheesy appams to a serving plate and enjoy. Serve with chutney or ketchup
