Steps
- 1
Season with the seasonings and put into a ziplock bag. Add the vinegar and olive oil. Remove the air from the bag and seal. Place in the refrigerator overnight.
- 2
The next day remove the steak from the marinade. I cooked in cast iron I got the skillet very hot then added the flank steak. It was sizzling. Turn after 5 minutes then cook 8 minutes on the second side. Add 4 tablespoons of butter on top
- 3
Let the steak rest for 8 minutes. Add the chopped onions to the pan with 1/2 stick of butter and 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil. Sauté till translucent. Add the Cavender's Greek seasonings and seasoned salt
- 4
Slice the steak and place atop the onions serve, I hope you enjoy!!! This turned out to be the most tender flank steak I have ever had.
Tips
Marinating the flank steak is key.
