Ingredients

15-20 minutes
2 servings
  • 3 bunchesSpinach(sabanekh leaves)
  • 1medium size Potato
  • 2small (about 50g) Onions
  • 4-6 clovesGarlic minced
  • 2 tbspghee /butter
  • 1/2 tspSalt
  • 1/2 tspblack pepper powder(optional)
  • 1/2 tspcumin powder
  • 2green chilli slit
  • 1whole Lemon juice
  • 1/4 tspTurmeric (optional)
  • 50 mLWater

Steps

15-20 minutes
  1. 1

    Wash and clean the spinach bunches until all the dirt is separated completely then chop the spinach and let it’s excess water out nicely

    Further peel and dice the potatoes & Finely chop onion and garlic.

    Cover it and cook until spinach is cooked

    Warm ghee in a cooker, sauté onion and garlic until soft & translucent then add chopped spinach salt,turmeric powder & green chillies

    Add potatoes and cover the pot for 5 minutes until potatoes are softened

    Dry it completely finally it’s ready with a slightly creamy texture now add lemon juice, mix, and serve it with white rice or roti it’s equally delicious & melts in mouth..!

Tips

For a richer flavor, you can add a pinch of cumin or coriander.
