Tamarind chutney (imli ki khatti meethi chutney-No dates recipe)

This chutney goes well with almost everything like chaats(panipuri, bhel), wih dhokla, vada or you can even add in dals to give them khatta meetha taste.

Add tamarind, jaggery, water in a heavy bottom pan, and cook it till water educes to half.

Using a hand blender or whisk, blend it smooth.

Strain the chutney.

Take the strained chutney, adjust the consistency. Add salt, red chilli powder and black pepper powder and give it a nice boil.

Tamarind chutney is ready. Use it with bhel, panipuri or in your vegetables.
Tips
It has a shelf life of 1month. Refrigerate it after every use.
You Can replace jaggery with white/ brown sugar.
