Ingredients

  • 150 GramsBrussels sprouts
  • 1pear
  • 50 Gramsalmonds
  • 40 GramsCheddar nutty
  • 2thyme springs of fresh
  • 2 Tablespoonsextra virgin olive oil
  • 1 Tablespoonlemon juice
  • 1 Pinchsea salt
  • 1 Pinchblack pepper

    Boil the sprouts briefly.

  2. 2

    Roast the almonds in the oven (preheated to 180°C) or frying pan, until they are lightly browned (8 minutes). Chop the nuts roughly.

  3. 3

    Slice the Brussels sprouts.

  4. 4

    Quater and core the pear, and slice it.

  5. 5

    Crumble or cut the Cheddar.

  6. 6

    Toss the ingredients and arrange on a plate.

  7. 7

    Make a dressing of olive oil and lemon juice and add the thyme and plenty of salt and pepper.

  8. 8

    Serve the salad scattered with the toasted almonds.
