Stuffed Spicy Buns

So this is one of those Beula inventions and I am proud to share to with ya'll. I might have to do a bit of adjustments but for the first try it turned out great. I decided to go vegetarian on this, because when I began making this I did not want it be ruined and waste all that meat haha. However when I make this again, for sure some chicken is going in this

So this is one of those Beula inventions and I am proud to share to with ya'll. I might have to do a bit of adjustments but for the first try it turned out great. I decided to go vegetarian on this, because when I began making this I did not want it be ruined and waste all that meat haha. However when I make this again, for sure some chicken is going in this
Steps
- 1
Mix these ingredients together and knead away. Let this sit for an hour, after which you will notice that the dough has risen. Knead again and put it back in the bowl and allow it to rise again. Once you have reached this stage, your dough is probably really elastic and ready to hold some stuffing!
- 2
After your dough is ready to be used, heat some oil in a pan and sauté the onions until they are soft. Add the minced ginger and garlic and your diced tomatoes. A few minutes later add the curry powder, paprika and chilli powder. Next toss in the meat / veggies, some pepper and the salt. Give it a good mix and let this cook. I cooked it till it was gooey and sauce like. This helps in not letting the buns go dry
- 3
Take a ball of dough and flatten it gently with a rolling pin. In the middle spoon the filling and fold the dough over to tightly close any openings. Repeat with the rest of the dough
- 4
Once you have formed your buns, mix some minced garlic, grated parmesan cheese in some olive oil. Brush each bun with this and bake in a preheated 200C oven until the crust is golden brown
- 5
Serve hot. This makes an amazing snack!
