Ingredients

  1. 370 gmchocolate dark compound
  2. 500 gmcream whipped
  3. sugar Powdered ( optional)
  4. 100 mlcream amul
  5. 200 gmchocolate biscuits
  6. 1/3 cupmilk

Steps

  1. 1

    Chop the compound chocolate in pieces. Start melting chocolate using double boiler method (Fill a pan with water and boil it. place another bowl with chocolate pieces in it and let chocolate melt. Never melt chocolate directly on gas, it will burn). Or microwave it for 30 seconds

  2. 2

    Mix the Amul cream in melted chocolate and whisk it. Turn the gas off an let the chocolate cool at room temperature.

    Mean while grind chocolate biscuits and pour milk in it. To make a dough.

    In a flat bottom bowl spread butter paper or aluminium paper to proper cover the bowl.

    Spread the biscuits dough at the base of the bowl to make a crunchy base for chocolate mousse. And freeze the bowl. (you can skip the crunchy base if you don't want)

    Take a large bowl and mix together whipped cream(you can add powdered sugar if  required)  and melted chocolate.(Don't mix the hot chocolate and whipped cream. Cream would melt. Secondly, mix whip cream and chocolate with lighter hand so that it cream lightness doesn't go away.Also don't whisk it too much. As the temperature would rise and the whipped cream could melt.)

    Now, the final step. Pour the whipped cream on the crunchy base and freeze it(freezing time 5-6 hours). You can decorate the mousse by spreading chocolate shaving and cherries.

    Chocolate Mousse is ready to fulfill your carving for chocolate.
