Healthy breakfast

Eating oats is a super healthy way to start the day. I enjoy them in granola, muesli, flapjacks, cookies.... The advantage of porridge is that it's warm and comforting, so really nice to make in Autumn and Winter. Adding seeds and fruit adds to its nutritional value. Use any fruit you have at hand. And enjoy that post-porridge feeling!!

Put the fruit in a bowl so it starts to de-frost. The heat of the porridge will finish the job

Put the oats and water in a pan and warm over a gentle heat
- 3
When it starts to bubble, lower heat to minimum and stir while it thickens. At this stage you can add half a glass of milk if you like your porridge creamy.

Pour into the bowl on top of the fruit

Add maple syrup, seeds and a dash of milk, yoghurt or cream. Enjoy with your morning coffee and feel healthy all morning!! 😇
