Steamboat!

This isnt a recipe AT ALL. This is just an idea that you guys can follow.
Steamboat is a way of cooking that is very deeply rooted into the culture of chinese. As an asian, steamboat is very essential and personally, i have it at least 4 times a year.
A steamboat is just like a barbecue, just minus the hassle of coals and burnt food.
The main jizz of steamboat is that 1 or 2 pot of stock are placed in "hotpots" (you can just use a wide skillet with high sides and an induction) and there are food that everyone can just pick and cook straight away.
You can put ANYTHING into steamboats. The budget can seriously range from $5 all the way to $20 a person, depending on what type of food you choose.
Most importantly, the food you choose have to be able to cook really quickly. Here's what i usually have!

Cooking Instructions

Things to take note of:
1. Your water should be at a constant boil or simmer
2. Ensure that you do not leave anything in the pot for too long, if not it will overcook and become though. Thats why most of the food i choose have lots of fat in it so that it will not get tough too fast.
3. Have a pot in your kitchen with lots of stock ready so that at any point that your soup gets too little, you can go back to the kitchen and pour the soup right in!
4. I just use normal stock cubes for the broth
5. It is important to dilute your stock a bit more because while it boils in your pot, the soup will evaporate and the flavors will start getting concentrated.
6. Make sure everyone has a personal ladle to that there wont be any saliva from anyone getting mixed in. Hygiene is important! - 2
Ways to enjoy:
Usually i'll have it with rice, and i'll make sure that i drink the broth as its flavorful.

Steam in the Frying Pan Smooth Pudding Steam in the Frying Pan Smooth Pudding
I had egg yolks left over, so I made this thinking if there was a way to put them to good use.You don't use an oven so these can be made easily. You don't have to use vanilla beans if you don't have any. If your ramekins are large please adjust the cooking time accordingly.Even while cooling the ramekins themselves retain heat. So once they've become jiggly you can stop the heat. Dropzopie: Dutch sailor's booze Dropzopie: Dutch sailor's booze
It’s believed that dropzopie is invented around 1780 in Schiedam, a Dutch town famous for it's production of Jenever. The alcoholic drink is traditionally created by distilling malt wine and adding juniper berries, liquorice root and star anise for flavor.Back in the day it was known as a liquor that fishermen used at sea. It was believed that the combination of herbs and spices would keep people healthy in the often harsh conditions. In the 80’s it made a resurgence within the Netherlands when Amsterdam based distillery Bols reissued the original recipe as 'Bols Black'.In 2015 the drink made waves in the mixology community when Dutch bartender Tess Posthumus used it during the Diageo World Class mixing competition. Since then cocktails based on the liquor have appeared in high-end bars around the world.Piet Bekkers

Low Country Boil (with a Cajun flair!) Low Country Boil (with a Cajun flair!)
I'm a huge fan of Crawfish Boils and love when they are in season from April to early July. But during the rest of the year I really miss it and the Low Country Boil seems to tide me over until April comes again. But I make it taste a lot like a Cajun Crawfish Boil using the same spices and oils. It comes out spicy (as it should) and is very tasty. Leftovers are just as good! #mycookbook Boca de Fogo -
Pork Boil Pork Boil
Boiling pork is an easy way of infusing mild flavors into pork so it can still be used in making other recipes. It will take on a mild flavor leaving a wonderful flavored broth. It's also an easy way of getting the pork done. The liquids after cooking can be used to boil in making rice, use in gravy, flavoring vegetables, couscous and so on...The pork can be frozen, pan fried, pull pork, and sliced thinly for a wonderful sandwich. It can be used so many ways. skunkmonkey101
