Place the 8 bay leaves on a piece of clean cloth (towel) and beat them furiously, grind them, twist them and beat them again and once more grind them, do whatever it takes to turn them into a powder as fine as you possibly can.

Place the ground bay leaves together with the rest of the spices in the clean jar and mix very well.

Close the jar tightly and place it in a dry and dark place together with the rest of your spices (in the kitchen cabinet) until you use it.
