Put to boil the green grams to boil for around one hour until soft/ tender.

Put oil into a pan and fry the onions until soft.

Add the tomatoes and cook for a few minutes. Then add in the boiled green grams with salt, stir.

Add water according to the soup you want to create. Boil for a few minutes. Then serve with boiled rice.
