Ingredients

  • 8eggs
  • 1 cupoil
  • 1 cupboiling water
  • 2 cupsself raising flour
  • 2 cupscastor sugar
  • 2 teaspoonsbaking powder
  • 4table spoon cocoa powder

Steps

  1. 1

    Separate egg white and yolks. Mix all wet ingredients together with egg yolk.

  2. 2

    Sift and mix all dry ingredients together

  3. 3

    Mix dry into wet ingredients. Whisk egg whites until fluffy. Fold in mixture. Bake for 30 minutes at 160°C.

  4. 4

    Garnish with whipped cream or butter cream.
