Ingredients

  1. 9-10green bananas (peeled and chopped into halves
  2. 2tomatoes
  3. 1 cupwater
  4. 1onion- washed and sliced
  5. 2gloves of garlic -thinly diced
  6. Dhania chopped
  7. to tasteSalt
  8. Cooking oil

Steps

  1. 1

    In a cooking pan fry the onions and garlic until golden brown

  2. 2

    Add tomatoes, green capsicum, green bananas, salt

  3. 3

    Stir and cover

  4. 4

    Cook for a few minutes until the tomatoes and capsicum are soft, stir to avoid any burning

  5. 5

    Add water just enough to cover matoke cook for another ten minutes until the bananas are tender and the sauce is thickened a little

  6. 6

    Add dhania and stir into the ready matoke

  7. 7

    Serve the matoke and enjoy
