in a small sauce pan bring water to a boil and add coffee
- 2
leave coffee boiling for about a minute or two and strain in an old fashioned coffee strainer. (It looks like a handle with a piece of cloth hanging from it)

in another sauce pan, heat milk and sugar (if you like your coffee a little darker don't use the whole can)
- 4
once you see steam add the coffee and stir until evenly blended
