Steps
- 1
Using a 3 or 4 inch bone shaped cookie cutter on a diagonal on each slice of bread; press down & cut out.
- 2
Melt the butter in a pan over medium high heat.
- 3
Put the bread slices in the pan, then slowly pour enough of the egg into the cut out area of the bread to fill it. (I use about 1/2 of an egg for 1 slice of bread.)
- 4
Reduce the heat to medium and cook about 2 minutes on 1 side, then flip the bread over and cook 1 to 2 minutes on the other side until the egg is set.
- 5
Let cool slightly, then cut into small pieces if necessary.
- 6
Serve & enjoy! I make 1 of these as a rare treat for my dog & 1 for me. It works out great! ;-)
