Ingredients

  1. 300 grice
  2. 300 gchestnuts
  3. 400 mlwater
  4. 1/2 tspsalt

Steps

  1. 1

    Soak the chestnuts in water for 1 hour to make the husks softened. 1 hour later, take the husks off.

  2. 2

    Soak the rice in water for 1 hour and drain well.

  3. 3

    Put the rice, the water and the salt in a rice cooker and stir together. Add the chestnuts on top and turn on the switch.

Sushi rice works well! Short sticky rice like sushi rice or Japanese Mochi gome (glutenous rice commonly used for Japanese rice cake) works good in this dish:)
