Ingredients

  1. 4 largeboiled potatoes
  2. 1 tspchopped garlic
  3. 1/2 tspchopped ginger
  4. 4chopped green chillies
  5. 2 tsptomato ketchup/sauce
  6. 2 tbspsoy sauce
  7. 1 tspchilli sauce
  8. 6 tbspcornflour
  9. 1/2 cupbread crumbs
  10. 1 cupwater
  11. 4 tbspoil
  12. 1 dashof black pepper
  13. 1salt as per requirement
  14. 1chopped corainder leaves
  15. 1sliced spring onions

  1. 1

    Peel and cut the boiled potatoes into any shape you like.

  2. 2

    For Batter - Mix well the cornflour,salt,black pepper,1 cup of water & bread crumbs in a bowl.

  3. 3

    Marinate the sliced potatoes in the batter prepared.

  4. 4

    Heat the oil in a deep pan/fryer over a high flame.Add the marinated potatoes and cook for a few minutes till they turn golden brown.
    Drain on an absorbent paper and keep aside.

  5. 5

    In a pan heat the oil (you can use the same oil previously used for frying potatoes).
    Add the garlic, ginger & green chillies to it and stir-fry for a few seconds.

  6. 6

    Add the fried potatoes,tomato ketchup,soya sauce,corainder leaves,chilli sauce and salt to taste.sauté them.

  7. 7

    Garnish with spring onions & serve hot.
