Easy Chocolate Snowballs Easy Chocolate Snowballs
My sister gave me a recipe where they were quite floury. They tasted good but the floury feeling bothered me, so after some trial and error I finally came up with this.My sister is also satisfied with this taste. When I distribute these cookies with tea to relatives, they disappear in no time.Since everybody always asks if I bought these, I decided to post the recipe here. Please try them. You can leave the butter out to bring to room temperature or you can heat it up in the microwave to melt it.After that, just mix.You don't even have to sift the powdered ingredients. Just mix until the it's no longer powdery. Then it's just forming into whatever size balls you want. But if they are too big, you need to change the baking time.Try to make them all the same size as much as you can please. If you try to coat them with powdered sugar before cooling them, the sugar will melt and since the cookies are soft, they will fall apart easier. So make sure to cool completely before coating with sugar. Recipe by Maimama cookpad.japan -

Crispy Chocolate Snowballs Crispy Chocolate Snowballs
I wanted to make delicious chocolate and nut snowballs. These cookies have chocolate as well as cocoa powder in them, and are amazingly crispy. Even if you use snacking nuts, these cookies are very elegant, and great as gifts. If the hot water used to melt the chocolate is boiling hot, the cacao in the chocolate may become burned and grainy, so be careful. The hidden flavor of a pinch of pepper really brings out the flavor of the chocolate. The mixed nuts should include some sliced almonds, but otherwise you can just use some snacking nuts. Crunchy Nuts Almond Snowball Cookies Crunchy Nuts Almond Snowball Cookies
I love snowball cookies with almonds inside, and so the amount of almonds I added to the cookie gradually escalated. I finally reached a point where the almonds wouldn't fit anymore. The slight sweetness of the powdered sugar and almonds tastes delicious. There are a lot of almonds mixed in so the dough is prone to crumbling while shaping. Squeeze the dough tightly with your fingers. The salt content of the butter differs depending on the brand, so whenever you use salted butter, and also when you think the almonds taste too salty, wipe off the salt with a kitchen towel. Easy Walnut Snowball Cookies - Just Like the Ones From a Famous Bakery!? Easy Walnut Snowball Cookies - Just Like the Ones From a Famous Bakery!?
I wanted to make something not-too-sweet and crunchy just like the ones from my favorite bakery! So I made these. You just mix and bake these, so please give them a try.Make sure not to burn the walnuts in Step 1! The cookies are also difficult to roll up if you don't break the walnuts apart enough. Make sure not to overheat the butter in step 2! The cookies will break apart if you shake the cookies too vigorously in Step 2, so please shake them gently. Recipe by satoclover cookpad.japan -

nom nom nom. also, u can substitute granulated sugar for the confectionary sugar in the mixed ingredients to make a sweeter version. I prefer them to be half cookie half pastry-esque. Skiye -
