Chocolate Amaretti

Amaretti are typical italian dry cookies, made with almonds. We use to dip them in white wine but they're also good as they are. This is my personal version of chocolate amaretti, not as good to dip in white wine but yummier to eat alone.

Steps

Cook in a double boiler chocolate, butter and almond extract together

Whisk eggs
- 3
Mix the two above
- 4
Add flour and baking powder
- 5
Add almonds flour and knead the dough for a while
- 6
Let the dough rest for an hour in the fridge
- 7
Form dough into balls and roll'em in icing sugar
- 8
Bake at 180°C for 15mins
