Basic fluffy white bread

After a very long hunt I finally found the perfect fluffy bread recipe from a friend and tweaked it to makes my own. I used semolina to really add flavor. I can tell when it's been left out. Also the wheat protein is crucial to the light and fluffy texture. You can get bread flour and leave it out since that's what bread flour is. I just don't like storing different plain flour.

Dissolve yeast in 1/2 cup warm water.

Combine milk, remaining water, oil, sugar, and half of the flour in a mixing bowl.

Mix in the yeast and water proof

Knead in remaining flour and knead for 6 to 8 minutes

Let rise 1 hour

Punch down and roll out into 2 12x8 inch rectangle.

Roll firmly into a log from the short end. Place on pan seam side down.

Key rise another hour

Bake 375° f for 30 to 35 minutes
