Rotten Eggs * Halloween * With Bloody Eggs Variation
mmm.. rotten eggs! :) combing the fun of easter and the grossness/creepyness of halloween for an egg-stra special treat! (~~)
Cooking Instructions
- 1
boil and cool eggs to whatever method u normally use for hard boiled eggs.
- 2
once cooled, fill your pot back up with water enough to cover eggs... add food coloring to make a yucky color. ( I mixed blue, green and black)
- 3
roll eggs onto countertop to loosen shells and crack them all the way around.. but do not remove the shells.
- 4
place cracked eggs into the colored water.
- 5
let sit for about a half hour.
- 6
remove eggs from water and pat dry with paper towel. remove shells.
- 7
after peeling do a quick 30 second dunk into the colored water to give the egg the overall effect..
- 8
serve your rotten eggs! :) enjoy and happy halloween!
- 9
VARIATION: try adding just red food color (enough to make it a dark red) to the water to make bloody eggs!

Scary Halloween Breakfast Sausage Fingers Scary Halloween Breakfast Sausage Fingers
It's almost Halloween, so I made pancakes with witch's fingers. It takes some patience to cut and shape the fingernails, especially if you're making a lot, but these are perfect for Halloween parties. Every time I make them, they manage to frighten me! They're so realistic, you might even make some people scream! The longer the fingernails, the more realistic the effect. It's important to make shallow cuts for the finger joints to make it realistic. Frying the sausage makes them more "finger-like" too.(Recipe by AlohaDays.) cookpad.japan
