Ingredients

2 servings
  1. 7fingers of ripe plantain
  2. dry pepper
  3. salt
  4. red oil
  5. water

Steps

  1. 1

    Wash and peel plantain, cut into 2 and put in your pot

  2. 2

    Add water to the level of the plantain

  3. 3

    And place on your gas, allow it to boil for 5minutes

  4. 4

    Add pepper and salt and allow to boil for 15minutes so it can be soft

  5. 5

    Check at intervals and bring it down

  6. 6

    Use your spoon to pick one after the other and put it in a clean mortar

  7. 7

    Then pound till it's smooth and ok

  8. 8

    Then add your red oil and pound again so the oil can mix very well

  9. 9

    After which you scoop it into a flat plate and dress it with the red oil

  10. 10

    It will have the shape of pounded yam, now your pounded ripe plantain is ready

  11. 11

    It goes with stew or sauce.
