Steps
- 1
Preheat oven to 350
- 2
Make brownie mix according to box and pour into a pan
- 3
Put aside some mix to make a marble effect later. I usually put aside about a 1/4 cup but I have a rather small pan
- 4
In a bowl mix the cream cheese until smooth
- 5
Mix in egg sugar and vanilla until smooth
- 6
Pour cream cheese mixture on top of the brownie batter
- 7
take the extra brownie batter and place it in dolups over the whole pan, leaving some cream cheese showing inbetween
- 8
Cut or swirl through batter several times with a knife or fork for a marbled effect. It can be tricky to get a good marble effect so be careful not to over work it.
- 9
Bake for 50 minutes or until the cream cheese at the edges turns golden brown
