Ingredients

  • 19" pie crust
  • 2eggs
  • 1 cupsugar
  • 1/2 cupall-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cupButter melted (1stick)
  • 1 tspvanilla
  • 1 cuppecans, coursely chopped
  • 6 ozsemisweet chocolate morsels (or dark chocolate)

Steps

  1. 1

    Prepare pie crust (your choice scratch/refrigerator/frozen)

  2. 2

    Beat eggs slightly in a medium bowl.

  3. 3

    Blend in sugar, flour, butter and vanilla.

  4. 4

    Stir in pecans and chocolate morsels and pour into pie crust.

  5. 5

    Bake at 325 degrees for 50 minutes or until lightly golden and firm on top.

  6. 6

    Cool on wire rack. Optional garnish with whipped cream, pecans and chocolate morsels
