Steps

Boil beef until tender and soft. Boil with salt.

Add oil in the beef and fry until brown.

Add onions and continue frying until golden brown.

Add garlic and fry until a sweet aroma is produced.

Add in pilau masala,ginger, mixed spices, garam masala and salt. Cook until the spices are well incorporated into the beef.

Add tomato paste and stir for further 1 minutes

Add water to the beef and bring to boil.

Add rice and summer under low heat until the rice is tender.

When ready serve with kachumbari.
